What is Not Quite Terrestrial?
Not Quite Terrestrial, or NQT, is a online-comic series about a girl who discovers she has powers and, not only decides to use them as a super-hero, but also slowly discovers that she may be the key to unlocking the secrets of the universe.
Whore the good guys?
Well, obviously, theres Sierra Holt, aka Alien-Girl, the protagonist of the stories. Theres more info about her in the Who The? section. Theres Matt Smith, Sierras best friend and current love interest. Theres Cristy too, though you wont see her til the second issue. Trust me, though, shell become a big focus in only a few issues. And theres her father too, though you wont see him very much (come on, who wants to read about grown-ups in a series about kids?).
Whore the bad guys?
Shawn Collins is the main guy currently, a mastermind with his own agenda and some big answers to some big questions. And theres S-409 too, his side-kick, for lack of a better term.
Whore the creators?
Katroz and Nate1234 are our names, the creators of the series. Nate1234 is the writer and Katroz is the artist.
Is there a point to the series?
A point... to a comic series? Impossible! Well, actually, I guess the concept that nothing is what it seems can best describe the point of the series. But, in reality, the real reason for the point of this series is so we can test out our talent as comic writers and artists.
Do you plan to deal with any real teen issues in your series?
Of course! But if I tell, itll ruin some big surprises, so wait and see.
Will it be color or black and white?
Black and white, though the covers will be color. We want to have the series be like a Japanese comic and have the issues out as soon as it's possible.
When is it coming out?
May 21, 1999.
May 21? Isnt that the date of the new Star Wars movie?
Yup. Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace does indeed come out on that exact day. Coincidence? NO WAY!!! Think of the advertising possibilities (see front page for one). Plus, we needed a date to set our targets for and we figured that we needed a day where there would be a lot of hype so we know about the deadline. It was either that or Christmas, and Star Wars we just couldnt resist. =)
Are you excited?
Let me just answer that by simply saying yes. It doesnt display how excited we really are, but it gets the point across. |
